Anitra is a very special custom ex racing yacht built in Huon Pine in 1929,, , , , Yes 1929. She was designed by WP Batt and built originally by Charles Lucas. She has just had a major refit with the aft deck being replaced and the internal refit to accomodate bunks and a new engine cover as well as a full rewire. She has a lovely side banger diesle Yanmar engine which can be started electrically or if your keen or get stuck with no power she will start using the hand crank.
She presents very well not just for her age but because she has never been owned by anyone other than a truely appreciative owner. Her sails are in good condition and her rigging is up to daye she is insurable and is currently in a pen at Kettering.
Her current owner is getting a little beyond the love and attention she requires and is willing to sell her at a massive loss to encourage the right person to step up and take resposibi;lity for her next adventure. More photo's to follow.
