Built in France, 2003to CE spec. Atlantic A surveyed for 10 persons. Smooth water CE cat D for 20 persons. Payload 3400kg including 1 tonne of water and fuel. Sailed the Atlantic to USA. Spent time in the Caribbean. Brought through Panama, and across the Pacific in 2012. Bought by us in late 2014.
In 2015 we ventured down to the Hawkesbury and Port Stephens and the Clarence, and back up the Qld Coast.
In 2016 we sailed across the Coral Sea, and spent 3 months in New Caledonia and the Loyalty isles. 2017 to 2019 we have been as far south as Sydney, and as far north as the Low Isles, off Cape Trib.
In preparation for another Coral Sea jaunt in 2020,( that never happened due to the WuhFlu), we had gradually been updating, replacing and improving various systems, as follows, from the Bow to the Stern....
o Headsail replaced by a 120% genoa from Evolution Gold Coast - 2019. Fitted on a Profurl system with furler and both sheets coming back to the helm.
o Trampoline upgraded to a Gordon Myers Dyneema net, 2019.
o 2 forward cabins, with internal access and deck hatches. Used for spare sails, hammocks, floating toys, ropes, 6 fenders, dive gear, wetsuits, storm sail, drogue, tarps, dive tanks.
o Anchor Winch replaced with a Brand New 1200watt Lewmar, Feb 2020.
o Anchor chain replaced with 70M of 10mm rated Australian chain. Feb 2020. Anchor chain is spliced to a further 60M of 12mm nylon, giving a max theoretical anchoring depth of 40 to 100 Meters, depending on catenary and bottom. Maximum we have let out is 70meters.
o Spare is 10M of 10mil chain, spliced to 50M of 14mm nylon.
o The main anchor - a number 5 Excel Alloy. The second anchor is a number 4 Excell Alloy - (Australian made - Lloyds certified Super High Holding Power) which we used as our primary for six months up the Whitsundays, waiting for the number 5. The anchor is self-righting on the roller thanks to an Australian made Boomerang.
o The bridle is a 10M 4x4 snatch strap, which gives 30% stretch and 8 tonne B. S.
o Salt-water wash with 6 meters of hose, coiled in forward locker.
o Also in locker, 9kg gas bottle compartment, and spare 9kg bottle. Stamped and approved with Cert. Also space for 3 or 4 Jerry cans.
o 2 Remote anchor winch controls. Worn around your neck. Can up/down the anchor within 30m of the boat. No need for coilly cable remote. Also, a wired remote control at the helm.
o Standing rigging replaced by AllSpars in Feb 2020. All brand new.
o Running rigging replaced whenever needed, and turned into rope mats.
o Main halyard is a 2:1,12mm back to mast base winch.
o 2 Reefs running back to second winch at mast base. Double line slab reefing from mast base.
o Mainsail is a 65 SqM Evolution, NEW in Oct 2019. With new boom bag and jacks.
o LED masthead light. Also up there is the TV aerial, VHF aerial, Raymarine wind arm, and wind vane.
o Raymarine Digital Radar - mounted at about 12 meters. Range about 10 miles.
o LED Deck light.
o Black window shades - removable.
o Blue Microfiber seating in the saloon. Made and fitted by Custom Marine Horizon Shores. Seats 6 comfortably around the polished teak table.
o Teak finish around the galley - created by Pere, Kingfisher builders at Boat Works.
o Twin sinks, with salt water tap as well.
o 20inch Colour TV with dvd player. 12V.
o 3 Burner FORCE TEN stove and Oven - replaced the little French thing which was only good for warming croissants.
o 80litre Freezer, which gets down to minus 15 alongside a 60 litre front opening fridge.
o A 20 litre WAECO sliding drawer beer fridge, gets down to 3C, under the oven, on its own compressor. Will hold a carton - apparently food as well.
o 600 litre fresh water in 2 tanks, with isolator valve, supplying water through TWO pumps, in case of backup. 40 litre hot-water tank under port bunks - runs from port motor heat exchanger. Need 15 minutes engine time to get to VERY HOT.
o Standard Horizons VHF DSC 25watt, with AIS receive and display capability, with CPA and TCPA alarms.
o Raymarine C90 plotter display with Pacific and Australian charts.
o Separate AIS Transceiver behind switch panel - switchable on/off. USB connection to PC, also connected to the Raymarine Radar and Plotter screen. Independent aerial - no splitter loss. With the 2 AIS combos, you can see without being seen...
o FUSION stereo, 4*100Watt, with Bluetooth, audio input, USB input, FM.
o 4 cabins, each with double bunk. The rear two are Queen sized climb-overs. Rear cabins have hanging storage, shelving and under bunk storage. The forward two are Vberth also have hanging storage, shelving and under bunk storage. All the cabins and companionways are carpeted, removable for cleaning. All have fans, hull hatches and overhead hatches.
o Main cabin has 20" TV with DVD player.
o Both toilets have been replaced with TMC Bigbowl units. One toilet has macerator, the other toilet has macerator with holding tank. Each has the escape hatch for a nice view of the other hull and the ocean. Showering is via handheld from the sink. The rear cabin toilets have been removed. Port side is now a laundry, with twintub (240V, 300watt - runs off inverter). The other rear toilet has been removed, and is converted into a workshop or storage....
o In the cockpit... Seating for 6 around the table, more seating behind the helm with folding double seat. Can sit about ten people out here.
o Separate Garmin plotter with Aus charts and fish-finder. Scrolling coloured bottom contours. Depth alarm, anchor drag alarm. Raymarine Tridata, ST60 wind instruments, Handheld remote autopilot control with depth, wind, tack, ETA, VMG displays. Raymarine Autopilot, with tack function. New 2020 Plastimo ships compass with nightlights and cover. Uniden UM380 DSC VHF, working off independent aerial. Digital Yanmar displays - no keys or fuel pulls - everything is pushbutton. Raymarine depth for port hull, Garmin plotter depth from starboard hull. Also so a 12V PTO for recharging devices.
o The cockpit has a walk-on hard top for sail bagging - fabricated by ShipShapeShips at Horizon shores. Also has full covers and clears. Roll-up clears with midgie mesh. All covers can be removed for cyclones etc, or fully zipped and clipped for security from wind and insects. Fabricated by Custom Marine Trimming at Horizon Shores.
o MainSheet winch, jib sheets and furler line all handled from main helm.
o 1 electric winch and 1 manual winch, port side on roof. Not used for anything these days, as I've moved all line handling to main helm.
o Under floor is a storage space big enough for three bodies. Stores our dive gear, and full garbage bags when needed. Under the rear seat is storage - currently containing a 3.5kva Briggs and Stratton gennie, more dive gear, oils and cleaning gear, ropes, etc.
o The traveller is full-width, with clutches, driving off a midships winch.
o In the port engine compartment is the Spectra 30lph watermaker, and Yanmar 3YM30 with 2600 hours (Oct 2020). Was replaced in Feb 2017. Has a Stand-alone start battery.
o In the stbd compartment is a new (Feb17) 3YM30, currently 2600 hrs. Also stand alone battery and a bank of 6*110a. H Full River batteries. Total storage is 880a. H.
o Both motors have been maintained from new, synthetic oils used, oversized oil filters with magnets used. All on Maint Log. Legs oils get drained whenever I can get on the hard somewhere. Synthetic oils only ever used.
o Solid sacrificial mini-keels support the boat when on the hard or the beach.
o Legs are SD20s - running 3-blade Autostream feathering props, Australian made from Stainless. Half the oil can be sucked out for each change, or beached and fully drained to do it properly.
o Fuel primaries are water-separator Raycor, with standard secondary filters on the block.
o 300Lt of diesel in central tank. Good for 500nm of running at 2000rpm. Fuel use averages 1.7lt/hr/motor. If running one motor at a time, can run for 6 days....
o 2*120 watt solar panels on davits, and 2*100watt flexi panels on the roof. MPPT controller.
o Rutland (UK) wind generator with separate MPPT controller. 20kts of apparent wind gives about 300watts of 12V - 25 amps - enough to drive the radio, lights, fridges and radar when doing night runs.
o Yanmar 3YM30 engines have 120amp alternators as standard - plenty for all your electrics.
o 2. Kva inverter currently in stbd compartment with the house batteries. Each cabin and the saloon have 240V dual outlets.
o 3.2Meter Hypalon dinghy with cover, powered by 6hp Yamaha 4 stroke - NEW in Sep 2020. Has 1lt internal tank, and 10lt fuel tank. Has hand-held VHF and inflatable lifejackets.
o Last antifouled at BoatWorks Mar 2020, with WRAP supplied by PrintImageSigns.

o All creature comforts have been addressed - toilets, beds, carpets, fridges, TV, Music, sun, seating.
o All running rigging comes back to the helm, bar the traveller and reefing lines.
o All engines and major electricals are within 4 years of new.
o All standing rigging and sails are less than 18 months old.
o Trampoline is dyneema - still have about 7 years of life.
o All safety equipment is good - inflatable life jackets, and 8 spare, epirb, radios etc.
o Nothing major will need anything spent on it for quite a while.
o It is ready to go whenever you are.
