Pacific Dream is a 2014 Fountaine Pajot Helia 44, berthed at Hamilton Island Marina in the Whitsundays. This catamaran is owned and managed by a private syndicate and currently has 3 weeks available for purchase.
Pacific Dream is an owner's version with 3 en-suite double berths, which can sleep a total of 8 people. All berths are air-conditioned, powered by an 8kW Fischer Panda generator (completely rebuilt in January 2024), and there is a 160 l/h Watermaker (new January 2024) on board. The boat is powered by two Volvo Penta D2-50 engines (2x50Hp), with new engines and sail drive installed in December 2023. The galley boasts a fridge, freezer, cockpit fridge, and ice maker. There is a Fusion sound system, TV, Starlink Internet, and a washing machine on board. Garmin Navionics are used with autopilot and radar features. Solar panels are used in conjunction with 900Ah house batteries (new January 2024) and a 2kW inverter. The sail inventory includes a mainsail, headsail, and gennaker on a bowsprit (new gennaker 2023).
A Swift tender 3.4m (September 2022) with a 20Hp motor is hoisted on davits. There are also two new Stand-Up Paddleboards, a kayak, and snorkelling gear available for use by members.
The syndicate holds 48 shares, with 1 share equating to 1 week. A member must always hold a minimum of 3 shares. The average maintenance cost per annum is $1800 per share (excluding major upgrades as required), and the changeover cleaning fee is approximately $550.
