Negotiable, all reasonable offers considered. Slipped / antifouled Nov'16. Rebuilt cylinder head by Whitsunday Cylinderhead Reconditioners Sept '16. New impeller, exhaust elbow, filters. Cylinder bores and rings in top condition. Starts near on first rotation, runs perfect. 1640 hours. New 8mm anchor chain Dec '16. Vinyl shade cover restitched Oct '16. Good sound condition. Designed for cruising couple + guests. Fastback 32's are noted for their turn of speed (especially in light airs) yet spacious living accommodations and sea kindly manners. Clever use of available space makes for comfortable cruising and living aboard for their size, keeping ownership costs down without compromising performance, hence their loyal following... All Fastbacks were built by the designer and sold unfinished (except this one) That is, the basic boat (including engine, mast and rigging) is built, and the interior fitout, plumbing and electrics finished by the buyer. This example was professionally factory fitted and it shows.

Easy tacking in light winds and manoeuvring in tight spaces under power make them genuinely responsive and a joy to sail and own. A sea trial will not disappoint (see videos)

Central Yanmar diesel with raise-able drive leg, protective keel strakes, retracting dagger board, kick up rudders and minuscule draft allows for extra shallow depth exploring, urgent escapes, tidal beaching, and anchoring in close to shore.

Two previous owners. Purchased in October '11 as an easily single-handed safe live-aboard fun cruiser. I'm 183cm tall, based in the Whitsunday's, can deliver anywhere in Queensland. Please no tyre kickers and reasonable notice of inspection to ensure availability would be appreciate. Any questions or queries please feel free to email or call anytime.

For MONOHULL fans... To put $$ per-foot into proper perspective, bear in mind that with catamarans you get two hulls with separated living quarters 'plus' a bridge deck saloon and three times the (stable) deck real-estate for the same length.

Only 1 person has ever viewed boat to date since first advertised, an 82 yo gent from Cairns who was smitten but circumstances dictated otherwise. (Updated 2/6/17)

Accommodation
1x queen berth port aft (197cm x 165cm) with full length bedside shelf & head board shelf. Bed converts to seating by day (or TV dinners) by removing infill cushion which, when removed, makes for easier entry and exit. Great lounging space. Can be fully converted back to standard dinning configuration with seating for 6

2x forward doubles (191cm x 138cm)

1x single convertible in saloon using port hull dinette table between seats - which is stored beneath queen bed

Forward Berths Ventilation is via front hatches and also via central deck locker ventilation hatch opening.

Insulation, mould resistant, easy clean headliner in hulls

Large saloon opening windows gives great ventilation and allows for quick / safe access to forward deck while also assisting aft Queen berth ventilation in summer.

Eye level surround saloon windows with open-plan rear is what I love most when upstairs lounging or when sailing. With the option of partly (or fully) enclosing cabin as needed.
