'Chubby Bunny' was launched in early 2018 for Dutch owners in Les Sables d'Ollone, France. She was then moved to the Netherlands where a custom fit out was undertaken by the owners based on many years of their sailing experiences, with their preferred brands and additions.

The main factory options chosen were the sport top over the flybridge, the 3 cabin 3 head popular owners layout in the updated walnut Alpi timber, upgraded 57HP Yanmar engines with folding props, upgraded Comfort Pack, 2 additional water tanks, washer/dryer, electric heads, 2000W inverter, B&G instrumentation (with 12 inch Zeus plotter at the helm, pilot, AIS transmit & receive, radar, pilot, VHF with extra handset), code zero pole & rigging, square top mainsail with lazy bag, electric halyard winch, electric davit winch, cockpit cushions all over, helm & cockpit sides, dishwasher, microwave, lifting TV, Fusion stereo with saloon speakers, cockpit speakers with remote, additional freezer, slatted beds, anchor, chain, fenders and mooring lines, all in addition to the comprehensive standard Lagoon 450 Sport Top specification.

The aftermarket fit out was extensive with notable extras added:

Lighter and smaller 8KVA Fischer panda genset, Schenker smart 110 ltr/hr water maker, 3 x 16000 BTU air conditioning units with heating capability ducted throughout the vessel, 825W of flexible solar panels fitted on the roof with 3 Victron MPPT regulators, larger 38 kg Mantus anchor, microwave, additional 12 inch B&G Vulcan chart plotter at the nav station, Highfield CL340 Hypalon RIB with 20HP Honda electric start tender with nav lights, ICOM 802 SSB radio, Iridium Go sat phone system with external aerial, Furuno Navtex, B&G ZC2 remote controller with additional screen at nav station, code zero, gennaker with top down furler, Wingaker, storm jib, 2.8m carbon passarelle upgraded lighting including navigation lights, automatic fire extinguishers, 4G router, a comprehensive safety gear package and so much more.

'Chubby Bunny' was set up by its owners to enjoy fast, comfortable and very safe cruising for their young family on an 18-month adventure and has had an enormous amount of detailed thought put into it. Engine, genset and water maker hours have been kept low and overall the condition of the vessel has been kept in as new condition with the aim for a swift sale at the end of their journey, which has been decided as Fiji in June 2019.

This is one of the latest launches of Lagoon's phenomenally successful 450 model and presents a unique opportunity for a buyer wanting a virtually new vessel that is well positioned for easy delivery to Australia or New Zealand, or one who wants to enjoy more time in cruising the South Pacific.

Save on the new build time and cost, and step onto what could be the best Lagoon 450 in the South Pacific.
