Currently located in Cairns on the stunning Great Barrier Reef, Jamie is a shining example of Robertson and Caines' Leopard 42.

Extremely well maintained by the fastidious owner, Jamie has been significantly upgraded from factory specifications to make her a truly autonomous long range performance cruiser.

o 2001 hulls with new mast, sails, superior Dyeform rigging and electrics in 2012
o Hauled out and anti-fouled August 2017 with current Survey

Extras include built in generator, air conditioning, Coltri Sub MCH-6 dive compressor and Hooker dive gear and water maker/desalinator.

Luxuries include partially walk around beds in the forward cabins, washing machine/dryer on board, Corian benchtops in the Galley, fully weatherproof clears to enclose the cockpit and voluminous, easy access storage throughout.

The 42' catamaran is designed for serious bluewater cruising. The hulls are built of GRP construction with balsa core and solid glass along the hull centerline for strength of structure as well as additional insulation. The innovative stepped hull design increases volume while minimizing the wetted hull surface, giving exceptional load carrying capacity and maximizing performance. High bridge deck clearance enables a smooth passage through waves for greater comfort. Fixed skegs protect the rudders, also offering excellent attachment points for the rudder shafts.

The 1200 watt Lofran electric windlass is positioned to hoist the mainsail if desired. "Louvre" steps fitted over the sloping saloon windows facilitate access to the roof and boom while keeping the saloon shaded. Large Lewmar Ocean Line hatches for each cabin, as well as 16 opening portholes provide excellent ventilation throughout.

The navigation instruments are all located at the steering console and oversized Lewmar winches for main and jib sheet handling are within easy reach of the double helmsman's seat.

The twin Yanmar 40 HP engines can be accessed both from the interior and exterior and skeg protected straight shaft transmission enables repair or replacement directly in the water.

The boat is self sufficient with built in generator, large fuel (360 litres) and water tanks (800 litres), water maker/desalinator and 4 x 70 watt Siemen solar panels.

The sail areas have been maximized ensuring increased performance even when fully loaded. She has a good turn of speed in light weather and impressive performance right through the wind range.

The deck layout is clear, with the genoa tracks placed on the saloon roof, while the mainsheet traveler is positioned overhead on the trademark "targa" wing arch at the aft end of the cockpit. This arrangement makes the cockpit area very safe and allows direct walk-through access to the wide aft bathing platform that connects both transoms - great for swimming, diving or boarding a dinghy.

Jamie comes fully equipped, in excellent condition and ready to sail on her next adventure. Perfect for a family or couple who are ready to cruise now!

Available for viewing and trial sale at short notice, Jamie will not disappoint.
