Accommodation
Starting aft from the very well protected helm, including a lovely dinette for undercover outdoor dining for 6+, beech gratings cover access to the aft cabin and the very strong but simple steering gear. This raised 'poop' deck affords excellent visibility and protection from the elements.
Further forwards a delightful deck house incorporates a U-shaped galley, and private owners 'nook' with u-shaped dinette with folding table and fully opening windows with great visibility, as well as day heads to port.
A couple of steps down from the deckhouse into the air-conditioned main saloon which is beautifully appointed in australian hardwood crafted by a master joiner. L-shaped dinette to starboard with massive folding table and large opening ports. Massive traditional skylight over ensures heaps of light and air. This is a truly wondrous and charming space in which to relax! Down a further companionway into the full-beam 'waist' of the ship, which is a massive midships space fitted with a double bunk but currently used as storage and bosuns locker. Access to the engine room is from the waist, and also through a hatch in the main saloon. Soft patch in the saloon floor and skylight ensure easy engine removal in the unlikely event of major repairs.
Descending the aft companionway from the main saloon reveals a chart and engineering space to port, with private owners aft double cabin to starboard - all spectacularly fitted out in classic style.
Further aft a captains cabin is also accessible from the cockpit, and offers another chart and nav space, plus double and single sea-berths.
But wait - there's more! A completely separate traditional foc's'le companionway leads down to two further cabins with ensuite heads. Right forward are three single bunks, with a further three at the foot of the deck ladder. Perfect for guests, family or passengers.
The strength, elegance and quality of the joinery on this extraordinary vessel are truly breathtaking, as well as the build quality of the original ship's timbers and framing.
