Adams 10 Custom Modified Sports Racer

This exciting 10m sports racer was extensively and professionally re-built and thoughtfully upgraded in 2016 with a custom deck with modernised layout plus internal strengthening. She was fitted with an all new NZ Rigging carbon mast, carbon boom and carbon spinnaker pole, removable assy sprit, rod rigging with hull side chainplates, adjustable composite forestay, hydraulic backstay and all new under-deck jib cars on lateral tracks adjustment system.

New sails in 2016 included a Quantum carbon mainsail, Quantum non-overlap jibs plus symmetric and asymmetric spinnakers plus a more recent Doyle S2 spinnaker and a brand new Doyle J2 jib, not yet on board. The race sails are in very good condition and there are two spare mainsails. Non-overlap jibs make sailing this yacht so much easier. There's a Yamaha 8HP outboard on a transom bracket to get you in and out of your marina berth or home again when the breeze shuts down.

Also fitted in 2016 was a full suite of Brookes and Gatehouse performance electronics with 3 cockpit displays plus a Vulcan 7 plotter with multi-function display, GPS and electronic charting. There's also a B & G VHF radio plus a B & G V50 portable VHF handset for use in the cockpit. The yacht has been IRC and AMS rated.

NOTE: Sailing photos show the yacht with a black vinyl wrap which was removed in 2019 with the hull then professionally repainted in white as seen in the earlier photos.
