Dog Star is designed for heading offshore in safety and comfort. Cat 1 in 2018, she was prepared to go again in 2020 but Covid-19 prevented us from making our window of opportunity. 200nm days are possible in Dog Star, with Noumea to Opua completed in 5 days 10 hours. Over 90k was spent in preparing Dog Star to go and she could easily be ready to go again this coming season. Antifouled in November 2022 - ready to go for summer. NZ registered ship.
