Alberg 37s have been turning heads for decades now, with their timeless, classic looks. " Tigger" is no exception. She has been constantly upgraded, and much loved by her current owners, and together they have sailed many seas, since 1976. From the Great Lakes of Canada, to the Caribbean, Sth America, and the Pacific, she is now actively cruising the tropical waters of Malaysia and Thailand. Tigger is a strong, well balanced, sea kindly and sea worthy vessel at an affordable price.

Her current owners have lived aboard for 41 years! Wow, what a history! They have loved every minute of her, and have lovingly maintained her. An expertly built Hard top dodger and a bimini have been meticulously moulded to ensure ease of use and streamlines aesthetics. She has been stripped right back to the hull in 2005 and also had her deck stripped right back, and epoxy resined. She had new toe rails fitted and 316 stainless bolts, stanchions, pull pit and new 316 chain plates. In 2008 her mast pulled and painted and rigging was replaced. SHe has just had a haul out in Rebak Marina, for her latest antifoul.

The shapely Alberg 37, the bigger sister of the popular Alberg 30and 35, was penned in the mid-1960s by Swedish-born Carl Alberg (1900-1986) for Kurt Hansen's Whitby Boat Works in Canada. Originally designed as a racer cruiser, the Alberg 37 is better known today as a medium-heavy displacement bluewater capable cruiser. She's strong, seaworthy, and best of all very affordable.
With her combination of rugged construction, full keel and graceful lines, the Alberg 37 has a distinguished reputation for being comfortable and balanced in a seaway. "Tigger" has had many recent upgrades and is an outstanding example of this classic Alberg design.
