Classic Carl Alberg design from the Canadian builder Whitby Boatworks with beautiful lines and long overhangs, low freeboard and a soft sheerline; hand laid fibreglass hull with an encapsulated full length keel and cut-away forefoot & keel hung rudder. Wirrinya tracks extremely well and is easy to handle in all conditions. She has had a new 28hp 3cyl Kubota "Beta" shaft diesel fitted in 2009, the hull and decks were sanded back and re-painted in 2011, the main and genoa were new in 2013, the #2 headsail new in 2014, the other two headsails and spinnaker are in very serviceable condition. Wirrinya has a two cabin layout with near new cushions, V-berth forward, single bunk & galley to starboard, settee converts to double berth & chart table with single quarter berth on port side. Double leaf teak table drops from main bulkhead in saloon in a very practical and neat arrangement. She has excellent shelving with varnished flap lids throughout. Electrically operated head with pressure water in basin which empties to an approved sullage tank.
Wirrinya also features a double lid top loading fridge, solar panel with regulator, Fleming wind vane self steering along with Autohelm tiller pilot, GPS, plotter, sounder, electric anchor winch; and she is Australian Registered.
