Boat has Bureau Veritas Certification (similar to Lloyd's 100A1).
Built at a time when Beneteau were doing solid lay-ups and had overcome their earlier osmosis problems with their BWS (Beneteau waterproof system) treatment. Also the cabin woodwork at the time was very nice.
This 1990 model is very clean & tidy, well maintained with an interior that would put many much newer boats to shame. No leaks, no creaks.
Insurance valuation when purchased two years ago was $100,000 and since then $30,000 has been spent on all the important stuff ie. :
* Webasto diesel heating (essential in Tasmania)
* 4 new AGM batteries
* New auto-pilot
* New chartplotter
* Rigging replaced
* New "Reefit" headsail furler (Tasmanian made & the best quality available) relocated above deck
* New Vectran mainsail with deep second reef (custom made by Storm Bay Sails, Tasmania)
* New boom bag (custom made by Storm Bay Sails)
* New 15kg Rocna anchor & 50 metres new 10mm PWB chain
* New electric windlass foot switch in anchor locker
* Exhaust mixing elbow, thermostat & water pump impeller replaced
* Engine top overhaul December 2019 (approx 120 hours run since)
* New refrigeration June 2020

Anti fouled and prop speed done in May 2020.
Receipts for most of above available. Survey report valued boat at $100,000 before any of the above was done.
With essential spares such as a lift pump, starter motor, impellers and filters on board, plus Tasmanian Anchorage guides and manuals for most equipment etc, this boat is cruise-ready.
