I purchased this vessel in St Lucia in the Caribbean in 2018. I had been looking for a vessel to complete the pacific crossing in for several years when this Beneteau appeared in my search list. I had limited time for the crossing, so I didn't have a great amount of time for maintenance pre departure and the yacht having just completed the ARC crossing a couple of months before I knew she would be up for the task, and considering the significant works completed by the previous owners including, new standing rigging (2017), Keel bolts removed inspected, new B&G marine electronics, new life raft and various safety items included. Full list available on request.

My father who has been sailing around the world for the last 20 years inspected and confirmed she was perfect for the task.

We purchased and installed a 3g radar prior to departure and headed out for her maiden sail.

Geronimo's build would be somewhere in between a traditional yacht and the modern lightweight cruisers. Well to warm weather sailing, she is well ventilated, fast in light winds and sails close hauled extremely well.

Over the course of the next few months I would learn that she was dependable in all the weather we encountered and I absolutely learned trust her. She is the 3 Cabin version.

Unfortunately, the passage from St Lucia to Bonnair with my family was enough for them to decide that they don't like sailing, and so regrettably she is for sale.
