This great ocean cruising yacht was Designed by renowned BOC ROUND THE WORLD YACHTSMAN ( JOHN BIDDLECOMBE) from SYDNEY.
Built by Co-Ordinated Marine, at Rozelle Bay and Launched in 1984. Purchased by current owners in 1985.
This yacht is ideal for coastal cruising and has sailed the East Coast extensively. Several Citations have circumnavigated, proving the vessel to be a great Blue Water Cruising boat. Easily sailed single handed, The Citation 34 has traditional lines with high bow and canoe stern, making her an excellent sea boat. The hull is a one-piece GRP integral design with encased lead long keel and skeg-hung rudder. The cutter rig with furling headsail and fully battened mainsail can be easily handled from the cockpit.
The yacht is set up as a cutter rig with a strong bow-sprit, bob-stay and furling masthead headsail. An inner forestay allows for a Yankee that provides extra drive on the reach and good stability in heavy weather instead of using a reef headsail. The mast is keel stepped and has a single spreader with cap shrouds and a pair of lowers either side. The backstay goes to the stern and eliminates the need for running backstay, making the boat very easy to sail single-handed. This vessel comes highly recommended, Please call for an inspection.

Remarks
Key Largo loves a reach and often cruises at 8/10 knots whilst very comfortably heeled. She points well for a cruising boat with a long keel and often out performs bigger and more performance rigged boats. Downwind sailing is fast and easy to control with 12 knots achieved on occasions. The MPS or poled headsail makes this exhilarating sailing.
THIS IS A BRILLIANT CRUISING BOAT, IDEAL AS YOUR FIRST BLUE WATER YACHT. THERE IS LITTLE TO BE DONE TO TAKE OFF TO ANYWHERE, OR JUST ENJOY WEEKEND FAMILY FUN ( HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. )
