Columbia 29

Well known for their quality build and spacious interiors the Columbia 29 has proven popular all around the world. They are easy to sail, safe and stable. This vessel has an amazing amount of space for her size, and is perfect for cruising or even live aboard. There is a huge, deep cockpit with full covers including a large and nicely designed protective dodger and storm covers too. She has long moulded seating with cushions & back rests, with storage underneath; plus a beautifully varnished timber fold away table for when relaxing at anchor. In through the companionway is a nice beamy saloon with galley to starboard, two long settees each side that double to make extra beds, and a unique fold-up timber dining table to stow out of the way when not in use. There is a good size double bed forward, plus roomy quarter berth on port aft. She also has an enclosed head and with vanity for privacy, and the whole saloon has excellent head room throughout. All lines from the forward deck lead back into the cockpit to make single handed sailing easy and stress free, with all winches also here at arms length from the tiller. Atop the rear awning is 420w of solar and wind generator to make your own power when away from your berth, and there is a 2HP Honda outboard attached to very well made stainless stern rails. The Columbia 29 offers very good area and width in terms of walk around decks and well placed timber hand rails to assist when moving about underway.
