STOP PRESS: SYDNEY HOBART 2018 RESULTS

SISTERSHIP COOKSON 12'S GRACE O'MALLEY AND SAIL EXCHANGE FINISHED 1ST & 3RD IRC DIV 3 AND 1ST & 2ND ORC DIV 4.

The very successful Farr Designed Occasional Course Language One was launched in 2000 for Warwick Sherman, and is now reduced from $180,000 to $149,000 for sale. Owner says sell!!

The brief was for a serious offshore racing yacht with a double bunk, enclosed toilet, with H&C shower.

OCL 1 was successfully campaigned by Warwick with the CYC in Club, Offshore and long coastal events.

Since 2010 the current owners have continued active racing with RPAYC also in club inshore and offshore as well as bluewater coastal events.

For the 2018-19 season currently in Cat 7 safety but was in Cat 2 safety in 2017... Some of the Cat 2 gear may be available by negotiation.

Designed by Farr and built by Cookson Yachts NZ the Cookson 12's are still very competitive on IRC as proven as recently as the 2018 CYC Southport race.

With current owners twice best performing Club yacht, plus 1st 2017 Pittwater to Southport Div 2 IRC. Proven the ideal size for Club inshore, Club coastal and Bluewater Div 2. Serious racing with manageable crew size and gear size easy to handle and easy on the 'budget'.

OCL 1 was re-rigged in 2014 by Elite Yachting with a Cat 2 rig check in 2017.

Yanmar 40hp diesel, B&G 2020 instruments, Raytheon GPS/Plotter.

Owners have new plans and will listen to the market.
