Remarks
The yacht "Quiver' is unique. Its design and construction are professional; she has proven herself on the open sea & her cruising history is testament to her comfort, ease of management and seaworthiness.
She has drawn the eye wherever she has sailed because her appearance of the classic yacht* coupled with her superb modern attributes are unusual. Quiver sails well! She is not cumbersome, rather she turns on a pin. Her sail configuration makes for lovely handling; she makes fast and balanced headway with just the large genoa.
She can be managed with ease as a single handed vessel. She is equipped with more than adequate instrumentation and safety features. The solid teak handrail unusual, in itself, provides extra security.

Her many features including her potential charter capabilities make this yacht a very attractive proposition.
Her designer/builder Mr. Rob Lane has a lifetime of boating experience. He was a professional working sailing instructor, teacher of navigation and sailing theory with the TAFE Maritime Unit for many years. He has years of chartering and cruising experience. He is well qualified with an AYF Yachtmaster Certificate (endorsed to instructor level) and a Master Class 5 (Sailing).

All this contribute an expertise and integrity to the sale of this yacht.
Reason for sale: a new boat for the family will shortly be ready for launching, sadly we must part with 'Quiver".

*Note on 'classic yacht'& Quiver.
What is a classic yacht? The modern classic combines the grace of the traditional 19th century classic idiom with modern materials & performance-enhancing underbody & rig. The ideal design followed up with quality construction & attention to practical considerations provides the sailor with safety, comfort & ease of handling, without compromising on the aesthetics. The classic yacht must be pleasing to the eye with long overhangs and elegant lines. The modern classic yacht will draw the remark: "Wow, she's beautiful".
When he designed and built Quiver, Rob's driving desire was encapsulated in these few words: "I want to build a beautiful boat. "
She has drawn compliments wherever she has sailed; she has cruised the local South Australian waters extensively and explored the east coast of Australia cruising to Port Douglas & back. In all conditions, she has performed well providing safety, comfort & joy. She is ideal for short-handed sailing; her rig and her push-button winches make for ease of handling. Below decks are spacious & airy. Practicalities not to be discounted she is beautiful without the glitz of varnished exteriors, comfortable without diminishing performance or safety. The fact she is built to survey provides the owner with the confidence that Quiver can 'weather any storm. ' She is certainly ideal for long distance cruising with ample water & diesel tanks as well as a water-maker. Quiver is a unique 'package'.
