Classic Mahogany Cruising Yacht.

Built 1990 in Victoria Australia by craftsmen T & J Newman. Based on the Good Hope design of British designer Maurice Griffiths. Construction is mahogany from one foot above waterline down to full-length keel, cedar above, epoxy glass-sheathed. Built on laminated oregon frames. Teak and plywood decks, mahogany, Australian cedar, kauri, teak inside.

Cruised for several years in South Asia, purchased by the present owner in 2008. In 2009 Sotalia left Tasmania for world circumnavigation. After a refit in Perth Western Australia and some time in S. E. Asia then Westerly returning to Hobart in 2016.

Built with ocean crossing in mind, Sotalia is strong and comfortable with excellent stability, oversize rigging, various sail options, long range fuel and water. Ideal cruising, just living aboard or circumnavigation. No compromise of safety in the construction of this boat.

Ford Bowman 80 hp 6000 hrs, Max Prop self-feathering, Zodiac inflatable with 3 hp Yamaha. 3 anchors, 90m chain, 100 m anchor rope, Aries wind steering, autopilot [octopus], solar panels 2 separate systems, LED throughout.

Would consider a trade, house shack, land. Can deliver almost anywhere.
