I am the second owner of this fantastic Duncanson 35 cruising yacht, and I've owned it for close to 10 years.

It has a skeg hung rudder and a longish lead keel (2.5-3T)

It has a large angle of vanishing stability of around 140 degrees, and a ballast ratio of around 50%, meaning its a proper self righting ocean going yacht.

It is similar in design to the S&S 34, but with full standing headroom, which at 188cm tall, I found very beneficial.

Unfortunately, it is time for me to get a larger yacht, due to growing a family. I would consider a swap & cash for something in 45-50 foot range.

- Solid dodger with acrylic window, meaning no more replacing fabric dodgers every few years.

- Auxiliary rudder stainless steel wind vane similar to Hydrovane (custom built and steering capability even in gale force winds using 0 electricity)

- Twin headsails, with 2 ProFurl furlers and added stainless/teak bowsprit to turn boat into cutter rig, capable of sailing with all three sails out on a reach, giving about 700+ square feet of sail area.

- Danfoss remote compressor 12V fridge/freezer insulated with 50mm polyurethane with approximate 150-200L capacity (very cold and uses less than 20Ah per day)

- Wheel steering with cable and quadrant setup, and emergency tiller provided

- Feathering 3 blade bronze propellor by Seahawk 16 inch diameter, 11 inch pitch (these are about $4,000 to install new), and add about 0.5 to 1 knot speed under sail compared to a fixed 3 blade cheap propellor.

- Stainless steel custom fabricated diesel tank (140L) and stainles water tank (80L) with plenty of space for additional water in plastic containers.

- 80 m of 10mm galvanised short link L grade chain. This ensures secure holding even in gale force winds, without worrying about chafe while sleeping.

- Broadwater stainless marine LPG gimbled oven, grill and twin stove burners, with 8kg of LPG in 2 bottles

- AIS receiver incorporated into VHF radio, Standard Horizon GX2100

- 4 solar panels, with a total output of 360 watts

- 3 Deep cycle AGM batteries giving 300 Ah of stored energy at 12 V

- Insurance survey done last year (everything is good, report can be viewed in person)

- Australian Ship Registered meaning guaranteed ownership title & able to travel out of Australia.

Marina berth is available to new owner, if required. Liveaboard is permitted.

Please call to discuss and arrange to see the boat. It is very competitively priced.

This boat will suit serious sailors and cruisers. It is not a marina queen or a gin palace.

I want this boat to go to a cruiser or an active sailor. Im happy to do a sharp deal for the right person.
