Description: Duncanson 35

"DORADO" 35 FT sailing yacht is built to a very high standard and the attention to detail reflects her owner's commitment to serious cruising. Dorado is in superb condition and has been extensively refitted with new equipment inside and out over the last 10 yrs. The insured vale of this boat is $65,000.

Dorado has been a comfortable cruising home, and has proved to be a great Liveaboard for many years. Dorado's interior here is an aft berth on starboard with storage space on Portside for Engel 40 ltr fridge and other items. An easy-to-use galley is to Portside with plenty of cupboard space, opposite is the full-sized chart table with 4 draws. Forward of this, the saloon port and starboard settees, providing seating for several guests and a dining table that can be easily stowed away or put up. Within the saloon is a Taylor's diesel heater. There is a pump out Jabsco toilet and lockers between the saloon and fore birth. The forepeak contains a large berth with opening hatch, with anchor/chain locker forward. There are ample lockers to stow the gear required for living aboard and long-term cruising.

The raised cabin midships gives the interior an astonishing amount of visual space. The saloon is bright and airy, fitted with LED lights and Centre hatch. The interior ceiling is a Painted white for maximum reflective light, with varnished timber throughout that enhances the boat and sets off the attractive upholstery, her saloon is a delightful and beautiful place to relax in.

On deck, the raised cabin provides plenty of room to walk on. No narrow side decks to negotiate here! She has carefully placed, substantial cleats, fairleads, anchor rollers and winches. There are four winches for the halyards. The mast is heavy section aluminium by Allmasts. The mainsail is Fully battened Dacron sail in very good condition, as is the Furling headsail. Dorado also comes with Asymmetric Spinnaker & sock (used 6 times), also storm jib, storm Trysail, and staysail. The cockpit is enclosed with a permanent Bimini and Dodger, all canvas work is yrs old. She has an autopilot and extensive equipment listed below.

"Dorado" is a well-built oceangoing vessel. She is offered for sale due to owner's changing commitments and it is rare that the opportunity occurs to purchase a boat that is built, equipped and maintained to such a high standard.
