Guenevere is a 'go anywhere' blue water world cruiser.
She was built at Maylands boat yard in 1974.
She is based on a Herreschoff Joanne 1947 design.
The boat was built in steel 8mm and 10mm ribs as a vessel to go to the Antarctic.
She was sailed only around Fremantle and was the practice boat and the living quarters for the Kookaburra Americas cup challenge yacht.
I bought her in 1995.
I had the hull fitted out in Jarrah and Queensland beech.
I have installed a quadrant based wheel in place of the tiller, and have secured and refurbished and replaced every fitting on the boat.

SERVICE. Recent service to engine with full attention to pumps, fuel lines, replacement filters, and clean and set injectors.
Starts first time and never stops.
FULL BACK TO METAL HULL 2017, with repaint and new antifoul.

Remarks
Over Xmas 2017 the boat was on the hard for eight weeks with the shipwright asked to find and fix. Twenty thousand dollars was spent to make Guenevere an attractive, safe, and reliable yacht.
She then underwent sea trials to Mandurah and Back and behaved impeccably.
She is a tough boat, but because of her design and fg masts and long keel she is not tender and is very safe and secure in up to forty knots during shake down after being on the hard.
She is comfortable and a superb live aboard that can travel easily, even shorthanded ( two is all we need), for overnighters or further afield.
