NOW SOLD - Comfortable, roomy and stylish with excellent sailing performance; that's the appeal of the popular Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40. This Daniel Andrieu designed Sun Odyssey 40 was launched in 2002 and has been well maintained and thoughtfully upgraded throughout her life by caring owners.

She has three double berth cabins and two heads with showers plus a transom shower. Her inviting interior is fitted with all the comforts with gas stove and oven, refrigeration and a 60litre per hour water maker to extend her cruising range. The generously proportioned saloon has a number of seating options and a large saloon table for dining and entertaining. The saloon can be reconfigured to provide three additional berths if required so you can sail away with plenty of friends and family if you choose.

Her pleasing lines are enhanced by a traditional laid teak deck and she has a number of upgrades to make her easier to sail such as two additional cabin top winches and an extended mainsheet traveller. The furling headsail and fully battened mainsail with lazy jacks and a boom bag plus a Boom Brake make for simple and safe handling while her electric windlass with remote controls make easy work of anchoring. Her roomy twin wheeled cockpit, protected from the weather by a spray dodger and bimini sunshade, has a central dropside table for outside entertaining but which can be removed to open up the cockpit for more serious sailing. Safety gear includes a life raft and yacht is Australian Registered.

Recently upgraded electronics include a suite of Raymarine displays and two Hybrid Touch e7 GPS/Plotters, one at the starboard of the two helms and one down below at the chart table. HD colour Radar, AIS and an Autopilot with remote control complete the package. Her powerful and reliable Yanmar 56hp diesel engine provides ample power to get you home in the roughest, or the calmest, of conditions.

Well equipped, easy to sail and ideal for a couple or a family, this Sun Odyssey 40 is ready to sail away on new adventures. For further information or to arrange your inspection at St Kilda VIC, please contact Chris Furey on 0410 551 977
