Second Wind is a tried and tried Blue Water Sailboat. Designed and made in the Chesapeake Bay in the United States. I gave her a huge refit last year in Florida USA in preparation for the Golden Globe Race. A nonstop solo around the world race starting in France. Long story short I had crevice corrosion in bowsprit and broke the bowsprit in the middle of Indian ocean after rounding cape good hope. Where I then sailed jury rig to here in Fremantle. Upon fixing the bowsprit I have decided to put my lovely home for sale here. I am a completely honest and forward person so feel free to ask any questions etc
This boat is refitted for strong ocean going sailing and serious passage making equipment and safety gear etc
it's a practically ready to go GGR26 boat!!
The good:

The bad
- need new forestay and tuning of rig.
- another 2 sections of profurl extrusions (available to order from UKSailmakers in town!
- need all new gaskets forround bronze port windows and also old school board hatches need new gaskets.
- the starboard rub rail is damaged. And needs to be either removed and replaced or removed and sealed up for when burying starboard rail in heavy weather it leaks into cabinets
- re caulk some bits on deck
- engine leaks a little oil
- engine wiring is not proper and does not have effective alternator otherwise engine runs strong and kicks over Everytime
- No head or holding tank etc

Triple stitched 9oz? 4reef main. Needs love on the luff.
Hank on Staysail 7/10 strong triple stitch

Furling triple stitched high cut jib 9/10
