Liberty 458

Evergreen is a fine example of the rare Liberty 458, built by Shin Fa/Liberty Yachts in Taiwan and designed by the renowned Peter Hoyt to be a comfortable cruiser to sail near and far. Evergreen was bought by the current owners in Seattle, 15 years ago. Extensively refitted in Canada, sailed to San Francisco, Mexico and then across the Pacific to New Zealand where she is currently lying in Whangarei. With water maker and generator augmented by solar, she is ready for further adventures. Up top there is a centre cockpit with a wide, flat deck area aft, perfect for an evening with the BBQ and friends. At the stern there is a 3m Hypalon dinghy supported by davits, and the solar arch.

Below she radiates comfort, from the aft owner's cabin with comfortable end double and en-suite, through to the saloon with updated and well-presented galley. Forward is a ¾ berth to port with door to toilet and shower, and cabin to starboard with bunks, one opening to become a double, with door through to the toilet. Throughout the teak carpentry displays the best of the Taiwanese craftsmen's work.

This comfortable and seaworthy Liberty is ready to go and well worth viewing.
