Very popular Australian registered Mottle 33 designed by Joe Adams. This boat has been constantly maintained to a high standard, and comfortably lived on for six months a year by the present owners. With the two 130watt solar panels and wind generator she is self sufficient for power, and there is a mains 240volt circuit connected to a 1.3kw invertor for power tools etc.
The boat is fitted with stainless davits, and the solid stainless railings and safety netting make for safe cruising especially with children aboard.
There is a Bimini, spray hood, and spray dodgers outside, and all the internal upholstery has just been replaced to a high standard.
The Volvo 2030b engine has been well maintained by the diesel mechanic owner, and the sail drive provides smooth vibration free transmission.
The yacht is sloop rigged, which is quickly converted to cutter rig by means of the removable inner forestay. The mainsail drops into a boom bag, and is controlled by lazy jacks. The boat is often sailed on just the Genoa which is quickly furled on the Profurl furler.
