'Wah Moon', a well restored and maintained 1975 Mottle 33 lying in Sydney Harbour is now for sale.

This original version of the Joe Adams designed, George Mottle built yacht, has a classic layout which appeals to both cruisers and racers alike. Featuring an easy maintenance fibreglass deck, generous cockpit for entertaining and perfectly restored woodwork, this yacht presents beautifully and is sure to impress.

Wah Moon has been owned by one family for most of her sailing life and has been very well maintained. Below deck, a well-designed cruising layout includes aft double cabin and double v-berth with additional sleeping in the saloon and a head with a shower and electric flushing toilet. Her beautiful, teak saloon allows for family style dining with an L-shaped galley including electric refrigeration, sink and a two-burner metho stove.

As a cruising yacht, Wah Moon is well set up for easy sailing with two self-tailing primary winches. Her near new MacDiarmid Dacron fully battened mainsail with 2 reef points, and MacDiarmid Dacron jib on a Furlex 200 make her a capable twilight racer. Wah Moon also has an older MacDiarmid Dacron jib with a high cut foot and a spinnaker pole.

New standing rigging was fitted in 2010. She is powered by a Bukh DV20 (3-blade feathering prop) and has an electric Muirs 1250 anchor winch.

Her large open cockpit including a deck table, cockpit cushions, new barbeque and aft teak seating is great for entertaining. Anchor in perfect comfort with the "as new", custom fitted, boom mounted canopy. The aft folding seat offers easy access to the transom swim deck. Antifouled in November 2016, she is ready to sail away.
