A Farr designed Noelex 30, giving space, comfort and speed to challenge much larger yachts. Set up for easy 2 handed sailing, and can sleep 5 people.
Regular maintenance performed, Wire halyards replaced in 2012, rubber trim replaced 2015, fixed rigging and lifelines replaced 2017, rebuilt Yanmar 2GM20 Diesel engine fitted in 2011 (now 470 hours) and hull professionally painted in 2011. Cushion covers replaced, a Bimini and lazy jacks added and a Sunbrella Jib deck bag added in 2017. Bluetooth stereo, Raymarine 49E VHF, CTEK battery charger and automatic bilge pump.
75L stainless steel diesel tank, 120 L water tank and a shaft drive to a Flex o fold two bladed propeller.
The interior wood is in great condition. The galley has plenty of bench space and a Origo Methylated Spirits 2 Burner Stove.
The bulb keel draws 1.98m but can at the push of a button the hydraulic keel can be raised to 0.55m.
The boat can be used for racing, local cruising or East Coast cruising. It can handle the conditions, is fast and yet be anchored in 1m. Noelex 30s have been cruised up the coast shorthanded or even solo.
