A remaining defect is lights up mast (steaming and masthead) not working - have been told by a marine electrician that wiring through bilge to mast base needs replacement. In addition bilge wiring and mast wiring presently detached at mast base (see photo). I do not intend to fix this before sale. A solar rail light on board can be used as a white light for night anchoring. Navigation lights and interior lights are all working.
This boat is 29 years old and is not perfect. However I believe it to be well above average for this model. An impression in transom gelcoat reads - 27.106.10.88 - I take it this is self explanatory.
If a survey is required I am prepared to deliver the boat to Yamba Marina for that purpose. I am prepared to assist a new owner to deliver the boat as far north as Gold Coast Seaway or as far south as Coffs if a handheld GPS/chartplotter is supplied (am now told that a smart phone app can do this job). I can deliver the boat to Ballina or Yamba/Iluka without that device.
A photo displaying the boom furling mechanism near mast base shows blotchyness in mast surface - this caused by loss of white paint (spars originally painted) not corrosion.
