Nice little boat to learn the ropes on, with lots of extras for a realistic price; engine needs repairing. However, add up the individual part prices and you'll have far more than my asking price. Do me a realistic offer and go sailing this summer. Set up for single handed sailing with all ropes led aft and auto pilot.

Built in an era where thicker glass meant better. Being quite heavy for its length (compared with nowadays boats) this has some great advantages: the boat is easy to handle, forgiving, comfortable for its length, and has brought me lots of joy. Never made me feel unsafe and we regularly took her out of the heads. Enclosed head with holding tank & fridge makes it good to stay on overnight/weekends.

She is registered until Sept 2018.

I was planning to sell her at the end of this season, but due to other commitments (I am travelling a fair bit overseas for work in the coming months) and the fact that the engine needs to be repaired made me decide to put the boat for sale now, instead of letting her sit on the mooring.

With the engine replaced by a NEW Volvo Penta D1-13 in 2010,(which only has run 250 hours since), the last thing I expected to fail was the engine. It was also regularly serviced. However, after overheating the engine's head needs to be rebuilt, and potentially the manifold needs to be replaced. Alternatively, you could put an outboard on.

However, this little boat has a lot of extra's that you won't find on many other boats oof this age and price. Me and the previous owner have spent lots of money on getting the boat up to a decent and comfortable standard. The previous owner had started painting the deck, but here and there this is peeling a bit off (not sure about the paint used); nothing major, it's just cosmetic. It never bothered me, but if your wife insists on a shiny yacht - and give you this budget - you need to factor a weekend of work in to get that shine on it!
