Passport 40's are highly renown blue water cruising boats, built to a very high quality. They will make fast passages while being manageable and reliable. You will find many articles praising their sailing characteristics, quality of build and materials, which has helped put it in the top 10 of Cruising World Magazine's 40 best sailboats, along with 2 other Robert Perry designed yachts. The abundant teak, inside and out, shows superb craftsmanship. The sculptured handrail that runs the full length of the saloon cabin is made of a single piece of teak, 6 metres long. In fact, all the teak on the boat is sourced from the one tree. Every hinged door and cupboard still close tight and true. The centrally mounted engine, under the saloon table has excellent access, which is said, always translates to better maintenance. Little Wing has been set up for extended cruising, including many sources of power generation, shade and weather covers and a zip on deck shade cover that culls rainwater into 2 hose connectors for capturing rain. There is excellent safety gear for offshore cruising. Little Wing is fully imported into Australia with taxes paid. It is rare you will find one of these superb boats available in Australia and rarer still to find one in this top condition.
