NOW SOLD and off to her new home on the Gold Coast - The acclaimed Pogo 12.50 design has delivered a whole new way of sailing. Designed by Finot-Conq and precision-built by Pogo Structures in France, the Pogo 12.50 is a past winner of European Yacht of the Year and shares the same hull as the highly successful Pogo 40S2 Class 40 racer but with a little more freeboard. There are only 65 of these superb unsinkable Pogo 12.50s in the world and only two in Australia with nearly two years to wait for a new build, so don't miss out on this special Pogo 12.50 exclusively offered for sale with 38 South Boat Sales!
Combining simplicity, speed, and excellent offshore stability, the Pogo 12.50 does not sacrifice comfort for performance. Equipped with 3 private cabins, full galley, interior & exterior hot showers and a unique hydraulic lifting keel allowing access to shallow marinas and anchorages, this Pogo 12.50 is ready to take her crew anywhere at racing speeds, in cruising comfort. Inspired by the successful French short-handed sailing scene, her cleverly designed deck layout with its very spacious cockpit, winches near the centreline, performance Carbon rig, furling headsail, furling staysail and furling spinnakers makes for effortless short-handed or fully crewed performance sailing. She and her sister Pogo 12.50s have proved themselves on the race course but are equally at home cruising or enjoying sundowners at a secluded anchorage. Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a truly amazing yacht.

Remarks
The innovative Pogo 12.50 design was awarded European Yacht of the Year in 2012. Judges commented "Finish is First Class, layout and hardware have been very well thought out, clearly these yachts are built by sailors".
This yacht has very high form stability with a low centre of gravity; the weight in the keel is concentrated in the lower 1m of the fin. The Pogo 12.50 weighs approx 30% less than typical 40ft cruiser-racers so she is quick to build speed and planes much earlier than those heavier boats. NOTE: Our photos show the yacht with her original Grey vinyl wrap, since removed. The hull is now all WHITE with the navy blue waterline stripe retained.
