Karen is still available to a discerning purchaser.
The repower is underway with the purchase of a new 110 hp Yanmar diesel. The engine will fit under the saloon floor freeing up the aft cockpit. We will keep you updated as it progresses.
Karen is part of Western Australia's marine nobility. She was fathered by the legendary Len Randall. The famous Warren Mews delivered her. Extensive plastic (sorry, wooden) surgery was undertaken by the incomparable Dave Morse.
She is a demanding partner who seeks someone who will carry the torch for her over the next decade and beyond. Her jarrah carvel hull was two pack painted earlier this year and her Oregon masts are being stripped and varnished.
A short mast has been fitted to enable her to travel under the Fremantle bridges without lowering, the Oregon masts will be carefully put into storage once finished
A new master, or mistress will be paid back through the pleasure and pride of owning one of the uniquely beautiful boats on any waterway.

A framed copy of her line drawings will be supplied to the new owner
