UNDER OFFER S & S 34 fans will apreciate the many desirable features on offer with this classic S & S 34. Originally launched in 1985, she has since undergone an all teak upgrade to the accommodation areas and just this year (2022), a major external upgrade with freshly repainted hull topsides in gloss two-pack white polyurethane, fresh anti-fouling and all new stainless steel wire standing rigging has been fitted to her double spreader mast.

She has a custom lowered cabin sole giving an extra 100mm of headroom, a tabernacle enabling thedeck-stepped mast to be readily lowered for easy rig servicing or to clear bridges, a Yanmar 24HP3 Cylinder diesel engine with saildrive mounted under the cockpit, so the main cabin has a lot more room than is to be found in the original IOR rated S & S 34s. Her electronics are right up to date with a new Brookes and Gatehouse Zeus 3 7" chart plotter and multi function display, interfaced to a Simrad autopilot plus a separate Raymarine ystem. The engine alternator or two large solar panels keep the 2 x 12v batteries charged.

She has a delightful all teak appointed 5-berth interior with two settee berths, a quarter berth and a bigger than usual forepeak double berth with enormous storage capacity underneath. Theres a good sized chart table with an adjacent VHF radio and a SonicHub 2 sound system while just a few minor items still need finishing inside. The well appointed galley features a 2-burner stove plus grill and a large capacity 12vtop-loading fridge and a deep S/S sink. Thare is excellent storage throughout in shelves, lockers and under berths.

Theres a good wardrobe of durable Tasker dacron cruising sails, headsail furling and a mainsail with boom-bag and lazy jacks for easy sail handling, 6 winches, wheel steering and all halyards and controls are all led aft to the cockpit so she is ideally set up for short handed cruising or racing. S & S 34's have long been the choice of short-handed sailors and they remain highly competitive in todays IRC fleets. Renowned for their seaworthiness, this S & S 34 is well worth a look!
