Step aboard and sail away!

The Spencer Serendipity 28 (or 29 LOA) is a strong, seaworthy design from one of New Zealand's better known naval architects, John Spencer.

Lollipop is a great example of these boats and her ease of handling and maintenance - mainsail (new 2018) in lazy jacks and genoa (2016) on a furler makes her an ideal first keelboat. Her turn of speed and performance also makes her a nimble inshore racer, capable coastal day sailer or fun weekender.

Lollipop is berthed in Batemans Bay Marina - close to marina facilities and the clean, sheltered and uncrowded waters of beautiful Batemans Bay and the Clyde River. She's been a regular competitor with Batemans Bay Sailing Club and her seaworthiness is well regarded. Lollipop's mast will fit under the new Batemans Bay bridge so the calm waters of the Clyde River will still be accessible - great for quiet weekends up river - fishing or just relaxing. Lollipop has four single bunks (the two forward could easily be converted to a large double with an insert), a neat galley and a large cockpit that can seat four. There's also two good AGM batteries (starter plus deep cycle).

Lollipop is well maintained, freshly painted and clean. She was antifouled, polished and serviced in March 2020. A marine surveyors report is available. She is ready to step on board and sail away. But if you like a project there's still things you could do to make her your own.
