READY TO GO - long term, bluewater cruising yacht at a realistic price!

Rare opportunity to own a genuine long range cruiser set up by owners who have been out there doing it. Everything about this yacht says TOUGH. They wanted a yacht that was not 'too finished' so they could custom build her to their own specific bluewater capabilities. Once you have seen her for yourself, you will agree with us that they have exceeded their original objectives. 'Dingo' is excellent example of 'road testing' each and every system first hand to meet their exacting requirements of strength, reliability and (life saving) safety.

With comfortable accommodation for two, the owners have been out there and done it -
Offshore: Hobart to Bluff, New Zealand's South Island fjords for 10 weeks, Port Pegasus Stewart Island, East coast of New Zealand to Bay of Islands via Cook Strait, Marlboro/Pelorus Sounds, New Caledonia, Bundaberg to Hobart.
Locally: crossing Bass Strait twice, circumnavigated Tasmania, visited Port Davey/Bathurst harbour twice, the Gordon river twice in addition to multiple trips around the Tasmanian coast.

Dingo is comfortable, dry and with a sea kindly motion and above all, a sea worthy vessel (she surfed the big seas off Stewart island in 50 hours of gales encountered during the NZ voyage).

'Dingo' is a functional, working boat that's been maintained to a high standard. Van de Stadt designed yachts are renowned for their great sailing abilities so if you are looking for a real sailing adventure in a purpose built vessel, an inspection of 'Dingo' will be worth the effort.
