We have now reduced the price to $29,500 to encourage a quick sale. Our great yacht Celysta is for sale, as we have moved back to our house in Victoria. We have owned her for 12 years and she has been wonderful. She sails really well and is great in the ocean. Very suitable for long voyages and/or as a liveaboard. There have been no issues with the hull. I have looked after the boat myself and it has been quite straightforward. I have always slipped her annually and there has been very little to do each time - mainly just antifouling. I always paint the hull with waterproof chlorinated rubber paint before applying the antifoul. The motor, gearbox and drivetrain have been very reliable. The hydraulic gearbox is great to use and combined with the easy steering (the wheel steering can be steered with a finger) it is quite straightforward to come into jetties and onto moorings. She has strong anchoring system with a Muir Cheetah electric anchor winch, a deck switch, at least 200 ft of chain, and a well designed bowroller. She is rigged as cutter and is easy to sail. Before the wind picks up, you can reef the main (3 reefs) and take in one of the two furling headsails. Much easier than using a large genoa. She has great accommodation (the double bed is really comfortable) and 4 cabins. The permanent dodger is great for getting out of the sun or the rain when sailing or anchoring, and also allows you to leave the main hatch open in bad weather. The rigging and turnbuckles are new except for the two forestays and backstays (they can be done by our rigger). The Perkins 4108 50 hp diesel has been super reliable and sends Celysta along at a good speed. The boat is has full comprehensive insurance till August and can be transferred to the new owner without the need for a survey. An 8 ft dinghy is available to the new owner. The boat is located in Middle Harbour, Sydney.

Remarks
This boat is in very good condition. Very little to do to go cruising in comfort. This boat sails well (has raced) and will cover long distances efficiently. Has a very gentle motion in the ocean. It is extremely roomy with lots of storage space and can carry lots of gear without affecting its sailing performance. We have enjoyed sailing and staying aboard on it for over 10 years - Celysta has been great ! She is also an Australian registered yacht - registered to travel overseas. I believe she has done some Pacific cruising in the islands. She was based in Port Douglas (north Queensland) for many years. There is no need for a survey to transfer the current insurance to a new owner.
