2006 model Wauquiez Centurion 40s for exclusive sale with Flagstaff Marine. The French built Wauquiez Centurion 40S is a cut above the average cruiser-racers and has all of her predecessors' intrinsic qualities that we have come to expect and respect: a slender hull, the silhouette of thoroughbred, sleek lines, a low, streamlined roof, the cockpit and the deck are optimised for both manoeuvrability and relaxation, the quality of the rigging and the fittings with the keel stepped mast, the sheer class of the interior finished in luxurious waxed teak. The well balanced Wauquiez sails smoothly, with little weather helm. Berret/Racoupeau have sculpted an elegant hull that slices through the water and reminds us all that we're out here to experience the joy of sailing. The Waiquiez Centurion 40 won on it's debut "Sailing World 2003 Sailing Boat of the Year".

Though she looks like she'd win any race, she is also built for traditional cruising. You will find two appropriate sea berths in the salon settees, generous sail/gear locker to the port aft, and a midships L-shaped galley. The Centurion 40s offers two double cabins, separate head and shower compartments and quality cabinetry throughout. Easy access to the water through the opening transom will have the whole family diving off the boat to swim and enjoy the water.

This Wauquiez Centurion 40s is well equipped for racing and cruising with carbon/taffeta sails and spinnakers. The performance rig was upgraded with new Dyform standing rigging in 2015. The boat fulfilled the owners dream of competing in the 2019 Sydney to Hobart Race, finishing trouble free, 18th in Div. 6.
