"Anna Rose" is a 43' (13m) Young Sun staysail cutter with a platform bowsprit, a long deep keel and a canoe stern. These blue water cruising yachts were designed by renowned Naval Architect Ron Amy and built in the same yard as the Tayana 37. These boats are of solid fibreglass construction with a beautiful teak timber fit out below deck. The accommodation includes 2 x double cabins, 2 x full bathrooms, excellent galley plus skippers/sea cabin (or workshop). On deck, the centre cockpit is deep and dry. Auxilary power is a 120 hp Volvo. "Anna Rose" has two circumnavigations and thousands of Pacific sea miles under her keel.
Note: The market prices for a Young Sun 43 range from $165,000 to $185,000, so why is "Anna Rose" so cheap? After cruising the Pacific extensively the current owners handed her over (in excellent condition) on a three-year loan to a charity operating in the Pacific. Sadly the maintenance programme lapsed. She needs work. However, the hull was re-epoxied in NZ in 2012 and the standing rigging and chainplates were renewed. The engine is in good condition.
