Extremely capable blue water cruiser. Has completed two circumnavigations and more recently a South Pacific cruise. Wonderfully comfortable centre-cockpit layout offers easy handling by a couple. Quality teak fitout below features two doubles cabins (each with ensuite) and that highly desired feature on any cruising yacht - a workshop! Heavy-duty deck fittings, "granny bars" at the mast, massive davits and impressive anchoring setup all mark this as a bluewater cruiser and a genset and ducted diesel heating complete the picture of a superbly comfortable liveaboard vessel.

This classic design, with graceful lines that sweep back from the bowsprit to the canoe stern and the strength of heavy construction and a full-length keel, offers unequalled comfort and safety at sea. Solid teak joinery, bronze portholes throughout, hefty custom deck fittings and the very plush feel below all make "Anna Rose" a very attractive "little ship". Add the reliable 120hp Volvo diesel (new 2000), full electronics and a good sail wardrobe and you have a yacht that will take you around Australia or around the world. Large tasks completed by the current owner include a complete re-rig (including new chainplates) and hull re-epoxy in 2012 before a South Pacific cruise and more recently, new electronics. Having fulfilled a life's dream, he is settled back ashore and looks forward to seeing her next owner putting many more miles under "Anna Rose"'s keel.

Accommodation
From the very well protected centre cockpit, an offset companionway brings you to to the nav station (to stbd) with chart table, seat, bookcase and instrumentation. Moving fwd into the saloon the settee/single berth to stbd faces a very comfortable U-shaped lounge with seating for 5 or 6 around a central table (which drops if an extra double is required). Ahead, the fwd bathroom, with toilet, shower and basin, is to stbd and a large double berth occupies the bow. This cabin has good storage in multiple lockers.

Aft of the nav station, with a door located behind the stairs, is a fantastic bonus cabin. This versatile space has a single berth but is also home to tools and spares storage and doubles as a workshop. Every cruiser's dream! Opposite on the stbd side is the L-shaped galley, with sinks, stove and bench prep area in the heart of the boat and masses more bench space - wth fridge and freezer beneath - along the corridor leading to the aft cabin.

This is the master suite and features a very generous double berth and a private ensuite with shower and vanity. This cabin is well lit, with a large overhead hatch and opening portholes. Storage here is impressive: hanging locker, multiple cupboards and loads of shelf space.

The fitout throughout the boat is solid teak with detailed cabinetry of a standard not available today. The interior is well lit and ventilated by a large number of hatches and bronze portholes. Decor is a traditional mix of timber, brass and leather giving a sense of luxury and of a solid, safe refuge.

Eberspacher ducted diesel heating.
