Presentation

Bluewater cruiser with excellent inventory including bow and stern thrusters. Centre cockpit protected by solid pilothouse. Extensive refit over the past eight years including complete refurbishment of mast and rig, installation of bow and stern thrusters, construction of pilothouse and removal of teak deck. This popular design features heavy-duty davits and "granny bars", seriously substantial deck fittings, plentiful opening (bronze) portholes for ventilation in the Tropics and a dedicated workshop - all of which mark her out as a vessel designed expressly for long-distance offshore voyaging.

After considerable time and money spent refitting "Nangana, the current owner's plans to take time off to sail the world are now on hold for a few years. This solid, go-anywhere yacht will suit buyers looking for a vessel capable of safe, comfortable passagemaking.

Australian registered.

Accommodation
In the saloon the U-shpaed dinette to port faces a settee/single berth to stbd. To port of the companionway steps is the chart table and beside that, the door to a dedicated workshop. The galley runs along the stbd side and leads aft to the master suite. Here a double berth is offset to port with cuboards and shelves opposite. The ensuite bathroom has a shower and room for a toilet (currently removed and the space used for wet-weather gear storage) while there is a vanity in the cabin. Forward of the saloon is the second bathroom with lockers opposite. The forward cabin has a double berth to stbd with hatch overhead. The single berth to stbd can also be used for storage.

The interior is fitted out in solid teak with lattice locker fronts. Floors are teak and holly and ceilings white tongue and groove. Storage is impressive in numerous lockers, drawers and cupboards - enough for a household. Upholstery is in immaculate order. The interior is extremely well ventilated with numerous opening bronze portholes and overhead hatches. Headroom: 6ft+

Ducted central heating - Webasto diesel heater.

On deck, the spacious centre cockpit is enclosed by a full-height hard dodger with side and rear curtains. Aft, heavy duty dinghy davits with a lifting crane make handling the dinghy a single-handed operation. Outboard, BBQ and bait table are mounted on stern rails. The side decks are wide and clear with high toerails. At the mast, heavy stainless "granny bars" ensure safety while working sails. The bowsprit is wide with high rails and teak-grate decking. Lifeline gates port and stbd.
