Custom 12.2m x 7.38m modular pontoon barge

Mantle Marine are pleased to offer Barges Australia's full range and stock of road transportable modular pontoon barges.
These heavy duty steel pontoons are a flexible solution for a wide variety of applications in marine construction and other on water projects.
They are road transportable so they can be ecconomically transported anywhere in Australia.
These pontoons are typically used in tandem side-to-side with a steel truss structure joining them midships, but they can be used individually, or in multiple combinations and configurations to build up larger barges, floating work platforms, temporary marinas, wharves, etc.

Price listed below is the weekely charter rate for a pair of pontoons with joining truss. Price is exclusive of GST and delivery costs.
All units are in current AMSA survey.

o Construction Features include:
o All steel construction, of 6 mm steel plate throughout, fully welded inside and out.
o 3 internal watertight bulkheads, producing 4 watertight compartments which can be accessed by 4 sealed manholes.
o Strengthened internally by vertical, horizontal and lateral stiffeners, plus struts and gussets.
o Strengthened externally by 10 mm doubling plates behind connection brackets and at pontoon corners. 8 lifting rings - 4 along each side at deck level, each rated at 5,500kg
working load. These facilitate lifting arrangements, and attachment of mooring lines and tow ropes.
o 10 connection brackets are located along each side of the pontoon, to facilitate side-to-side joining of pontoons.
o Heavy duty Connector Frames - available in widths of 15"(381mm) or 36"(914mm) - which are bolted in place with M30 high tensile bolts.
