Sustainability: Navigating Towards Cleaner Waterways
At Yachthub, we are committed to safeguarding the oceans, rivers and their fragile ecosystems for current and future generations. Our dedication to sustainability is at the core of our business, and we recognize the pivotal role that the ocean plays in our planet's health and well-being. Through our actions and practices, we aim to make a positive impact on the marine environment.
"We have used the ocean as our sewer — we have thrown everything that we don't want into it, and we take out everything that we like. The oceans give us food, oxygen, they regulate the climate - they give us so many things that are essential to our survival. So it's about time that we give the ocean more respect".
Dr Enric Sala, founder National Geographic Pristine Seas.

Tangaroa Blue Foundation is an Australia-wide not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the removal and prevention of marine debris: one of the major environmental issues worldwide. The Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) is a key program coordinated by the Tangaroa Blue Foundation, to help clean our oceans and track their health.
The AMDI is a network of volunteers, communities and organisations that contribute data to the AMDI Database, and then work on solutions to stop the flow of litter at the source. This helps communities look after their coastal environment by providing resources and support programs, and collaborates with industry and government to create change on a large scale.
Keep an eye out for the next beach clean up to get involved!
