Originally specified and custom-built new in 2009 for her sole West Australian owner as the "ultimate long-range expedition boat", Summersalt has every single option ticked and not one small detail was spared. She was delivered by ship to Fremantle in 2010 and has enjoyed her life exploring the West Coast, providing many unforgettable memories for the family. DETAILED WALKTHROUGH:

COCKPIT
Step into the expansive cockpit, the 14mm teak decking is incredibly well-preserved thanks to the custom fibreglass hard top and black breezeway roll-down blinds to all sides. The electro-hydraulic drop-down transom draws your attention immediately and provides the versatility & safety of a fully enclosed fishing cockpit and a modern walkthrough transom design for seamless entry into the water. Designed with the foresight to reduce the vessel's measured length overall, the folding swim platform deploys in seconds at the touch of a button. Simply drop the stainless rails in and you have just increased your deck space by 5 sqm! The two separate entertaining spaces on the aft deck are both equally spacious and it never feels crowded. The mezzanine lounge is almost certainly where you will enjoy the bulk of your meals, easily serviced from the aft galley through the electric window and servery. Entertaining & catering is just one of the many functions this boat excels at, assisted by a 240V BBQ, Miele 2-hob stove and two extra large eutectic fridges on deck. One of the trademark features of Salthouse is the on-deck day-head / shower, perfect for keeping the mess outside when there are multiple kids and guests onboard.

GALLEY
As you walk through the doorway to the galley you are met with an incredibly well-equipped and modern galley, featuring a french door fridge/freezer, dishwasher, induction cooktop, twin convection Miele combi-ovens, ample bench space and plenty of dry storage, perfect for extended trips. An electric canteen window quickly disappears below the aft bulkhead, providing convenient access to serve guests whilst relaxing around the al fresco lounge and additionally allows plenty of airflow throughout.

SALOON
The galley flows nicely into the well-lit open-plan saloon finished in exquisite cherry wood gloss veneer, leather sofas, vinyl headliners and tidy carpet laid in 2022. A large wrap-around leather lounge provides an inviting space for guests to sit back and enjoy a meal around the dinette or watch a movie in complete comfort. The extendable cherry wood dinette table is on an electric up/down pedestal and quickly converts to a "superking" bed with the addition of large cushion inserts, great for movie night and overflow accommodation! A 50" Smart TV, Foxtel, Playstation and Bose surround sound keeps everyone entertained. Opposite the dinette is another lounge that converts to a king single bed, drinks cabinet and both sides of the saloon feature sliding windows for natural airflow.

ACCOMMODATION
The vessel features a desirable three-cabin accommodation layout, in addition to two generous ensuites providing ample privacy for extended trips. The extra hull length is immediately noticeable in Summersalt compared to its 65' predecessors. The master stateroom features a king-width bed, with space to walk around both sides, his & hers wardrobes and bedside drawers, a spacious en suite, TV and extra storage space thanks to an electric actuator that raises the bed up. The forward VIP guest cabin features a large queen berth and en suite, and to starboard a generously sized single bunk cabin. With cabin space for 6, plus 3 in the saloon and another 2 in the flybridge, and three bathrooms, SummerSalt can truly accommodate two or three families in comfort on long trips away. It is very easy to enjoy some quiet time and retreat from the crowd, with the flybridge doubling as a second lounge area, plus entertainment systems in the two larger cabins.

FLYBRIDGE
Access to the flybridge is safe and easy via the internal stairs. The flybridge is fully enclosed and air-conditioned, with a forward "cruising helm" position. Two luxurious Besenzoni electric pilot seats provide the skipper and navigator with the utmost comfort for long passages, with a bench seat to starboard for additional passengers. Visibility is incredible and uninterrupted, aided by several Raymarine cameras displayed on the triple 15" Raymarine G-Series monitors, including an Oceanview night vision IR camera. Navigation equipment is comprehensive, with Raymarine open-array radar, transducer, autopilot and chart plotter. Despite her size, SummerSalt is incredibly easy to handle, with the help of Sidepower bow and stern thrusters, remote control and aft bridge deck control station, you will feel in total control no matter the quality of the deckies onboard! The aft electronic window drops down and opens up the rear deck to the wheelhouse. Guests can enjoy the comfort of the airconditioning and lounge inside, or take in the fresh air and elements from the cantilevered aft seating outside. A bar fridge, sink, TV and stereo also service the bridge, along with a double foldout bed, it really is a mini-penthouse apartment on the water. The vessels second RIB tender is easily deployed from the aft canopy with an electric davit.

ENGINEERING
The equipment fitted to SummerSalt is more than comprehensive and a testament to the owner and builder. With the original design brief of being totally self-sufficient for extended journeys, there is redundancy and backup equipment for many vital systems onboard. Power comes from two MTU 8V 2000 Series main engines pushing out 1,200HP each. Fuel economy and range are genuinely unbeatable thanks to Salthouse's proven hull design with variable deadrise, fine entry bow, shallow shaft angle & shallow draft. The engines are smooth, quiet and exhausts well below the waterline, ensuring the utmost comfort. The ABT-Trac fin stabilisers provide incredible stabilisation whilst cruising and at rest, able to run off the port engine PTO or either genset. Auxilliary power is provided by a 17.5kva and 11kva Onan genset. There are two watermakers onboard, a Bauer dive compressor, trash compactor, 370L unleaded fuel bunkering tank and pump for the tenders and jetski, vacuum system, multiple chargers and inverters, additional refrigeration, dual anchor winches, washer & dryer, docking winch in the cockpit, 650kg Davco davit on the foredeck and plenty more!
