Sirocco, hull number 222 was the last Athena 38 produced by Fountaine Pajot, and still remains the most popular production catamaran of all time. Built in 2005 and imported new to Perth by the current owner, she was factory fitted with many extras including larger engines, additional water tank, sullage tank, extra mooring cleats.

Fully equipped for live aboard or long-term cruising, Sirocco features the following extras; custom built cockpit hard top with integrated lighting, fishing rod rack, clear dodger and fully zip-up awnings, HF Radio, satellite phone (with predictwind & GPS tracking), large freezer, microwave, Thermomix, BBQ, shore power, large battery bank, full safety gear, Raymarine integrated electronics systems, AIS, autopilot, chart plotter, sonar, radar, TV, solar panels, inverter, water maker, generator, 3.5 cf dive compressor & dive tanks, electric toilet and has been meticulously maintained by single owner.

This Athena 38 is an Olivier Flahault designed bridge deck saloon, with galley up and magnificent panoramic views through the large saloon windows.

In each hull are four light and airy cabins and two bathrooms with shower & toilet. The dedicated helm has clear views in all directions, she is built light, yet strong and is an extremely safe vessel and very easy to sail single handed.

Sirocco has just been out of the water for antifouling, new anodes and sail drive maintenance (November 2023) and shouldn't require slipping for another 2-3 years and the rigging is less than six years old. (Fore stay replaced September 2023)

This is a fabulous opportunity for anyone looking for a fully fitted, liveaboard, long distance cruising cat that is setup ready to go, only two days sail away from that lifelong dream Kimberly cruise, or for family fun with weekends out amongst the Islands and school holidays cruising up and down the coast.

The owner is reluctantly selling due to a death in the family.
