The L47 by Robertson & Caine is a well respected and proven ocean cruiser with a reputation for durability and strong build. Windsong II is an excellent example, lovingly sailed and maintained by experienced long term sailors. This catamaran is set up and ready to go and could take you anywhere, from weekend pleasure sailing to around the world.

When you first step aboard, you are welcomed by a spacious and comfortable cockpit, lounge and outdoor dining area, fully enclosed by custom clears and shades. Bring along your fishing rods or boards, there is plenty of room for all the family and friends. The vessel is spacious and uncluttered with rounded corners for comfort. The flat area up front and large trampolines have dolphin viewing seats either side. From the moment you step on this boat, you just want to be out enjoying the water.

Windsong II has sailed extensively and with the current owners she has explored from Fremantle across the top end, Papua New Guinea and the East Coast of Australia including a recent trip to the Coral Sea Islands. The beauty and comfort of this vessel is all in the attention to detail, the seemingly little things that ensure systems function, the vessel performs and the crew are comfortable. There are so many extras on this boat that come with liveaboard cruising, owners can provide receipts and details of the many upgrades and maintenance undertaken. In April 2024 she was on the hard stand at Boat Works Gold Coast for antifoul, engine and generator service, new shaft seals and rig inspection. Rig was replaced in 2022.

Sail wise, the Leopard 47 is a fast boat for sure, with a longer waterline length than others in this price range and slender hulls, Windsong II has a good sail wardrobe to get the best performance. You can expect an average of 9 and 10 or 200nm+ days on passages and she is comfortable in big seas. We've encountered some rough weather onboard, but the cockpit is dry and the layout comfortable.

The owners are currently living aboard and have Windsong II prepared for the cruising season. Reasonable delivery by current owners would be considered.
