The current owner is the second owner of Thai Girl, which was commissioned in 2011 and launched in 2012."Thai Girl" came out of charter in 2020, and the current owner has done a full and comprehensive refit in readiness for ocean passages. As his initial plans, where extensive world wide blue water sailing was a priority, his focus was on integrity of hull and safety. The rudder and keel were removed and the internal structural grid strengthened. He has replaced her keel bolts and rudder bearings. The steering torsion bar was replaced with 316 SS. All this was overseen by a highly qualified Marine Surveyor.

With many upgrades, she is ready to go anywhere.

Upgrades include, but are not limited to :
* Full electronic upgrade: Raymarine navigation instruments, all new 2022.
* All standing rigging including Tie rods were replaced in 2022, by a professional rigger. Most running rigging replaced, Mast, boom and
kicker fully serviced 2022, as well as new sheaves in the mast head.
*. Lithium batteries, solar panels and starter battery all new in 2022. With over 1350 Watt of solar, the boat is a power house for a range of
independent cruising possibilities.
