NEW FOR 2014. Delphia Yachts, and renowned naval architect Andrzej Skrzat have excelled with this modern innovative yacht providing comfort and sparkling sailing performance. A long waterline length and good hull form stability continue the tradition of Delphia Yachts ease of handling with a yacht that is responsive to the helm, stable, and able to carry sail in the strong gusts without rounding up. The photos show the optional "Décor" interior, though the standard interior has the warmth of the more traditional light mahogany timber finishes. A two double bed cabin interior is standard, but by virtue of a beam carried well aft and clever use of space, a 3 double bed cabin interior is an option. Each cabin has a hanging locker and storage and privacy is assured with doors separating the sleeping cabins from the living areas. The "L' shaped galley, located at the companionway for ease of passing food and drinks out to the cockpit, is equipped with a deep stainless sink, a mixer suppling hot and cold water, top opening fridge, and a two burner lpg stove with oven. There is ample storage for food and cooking utensils. Many other boat builders have reduced the standard equipment list of their basic sailaway boat to the point of you having to spend quite a bit more to actually get it to "sailaway". Anchors and chain and an anchor winch are something I have noticed missing in competitors specs, but that is not the case here, with this boat being well equipped and ready to go. There is, however, an extensive option list, allowing you to build the boat as you want it. For sailors who love sailing, this boat should be a competitive club racer, and also a comfortable cruiser for family and friends. With a CE "A" class rating for 6, this boat is offshore, or bluewater rated and "B" class, for 8, up to 50 miles from shore. A unique feature is the split transom with a hinged section that when lowered becomes a boarding or swim platform. Raised, it looks like a conventional transom. There is also a swim ladder at the stern. Very well thought out and engineered, this is a boat you will be proud to own.
