Island Spirit already has a reputation as a fast sea worthy boat winning races in South Africa, the USA and at least one boat completing a world circumnavigation.
The I. S. 38 is built to CE standards using the latest technology in vacuum infusion making the hull and deck 35% lighter and stronger than conventional construction. The INVERTED WAVE PIERCING BOWS (IWPB) and the highest bridge deck clearance in its class make for a very comfortable ride with reduced 'hobby horsing' in all sea conditions.
Single handed sailing is made easy with the self tacking jib and all of the lines leading back to the helm station. The clean wide decks and walkways make it a breeze to move about under sail.
With 2,3 and 4 cabin versions available, the Island Spirit 38 is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two families, a long-term cruising couple or a whole group of charter guests on vacation.
With modern innovative construction technology she is carefully designed so that every space is optimally used to enhance comfort on board. Built in controlled conditions in Thailand, we are able to keep construction costs down and pass this saving on to you, our valued clients.

The panoramic saloon has views through large fixed side and front windows. Large saloon seat with dining and coffee table. Interior is in fibreglass with cherry wood trim and ultra leather upholstery on seating. LED down lights in saloon and courtesy floor lighting.
A large sliding door with opening window leads to the galley.
Cabins are comfortably spacious and private with double berths forward and queens aft. The queens have storage under and composite wooden flooring. All cabins have hanging lockers and shelves.

The bathrooms are beautifully appointed and ventilated for optimum comfort. Manual seawater flush toilets plumbed to 100 litre holding tanks. Corian vanities with basins, GRP cabinets and mirrors. Toilet roll holders and towel holders.

The chef's L-shaped galley is unequalled on any catamaran in this size range. It has Corian counters, a Smev 2-burner cooktop, double sinks with hot & cold water, storage lockers and drawers.
