She's designed with a huge uncluttered aluminium deck and airtight sealed hull for added peace of mind. While the hull has its airtight chambers, the 495 has a massive 180-litre flooding tank which adds incredible stability when at rest and increases the soft ride that Surtees is already famous for. Excellent vision, open cabin/storage and remarkable freeboard continue the winning features this little pearler has. It comes with a glass windscreen that folds down limiting the height on its trailer to under 2 meters so she should fit into most garages.
Good sized twin ally marlin boards with a strong ladder and easy access to the anchor well continue the ergonomics as does the access to the battery house and live bait tank.
