Overview

This is the first tour and test of the Riviera 6800 Sport Yacht Platinum which was recently premiered to the public in Australia at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.

For a vessel of this size I am amazed that the operation of this boat is still just as easy and functional as the smaller Riv's. The Volvo DPS with Dock Assist actually makes this 70ft+ yacht as easy to handle as a 40ft'er!

Riv have achieved something that in my opinion is going to keep families together. A boat like this, that is this easy to operate will facilitate relaxed days. If the skipper isn't loosing his marbles because of a close call at the dock then everyone will be enjoying themselves - and they will come again. I predict days onboard this 6800 will be cool, calm and relaxing.
