Peak Marine Antifoul Remover effectively breaks down antifoul coatings without damaging fibreglass, gelcoat, steel, and wooden boat hulls.
Removes multiple layers of antifoul in a single application.
Fully biodegradable, non-flammable, solvent free, contains no VOC's.
Eliminates the need for traditional sandblasting removal methods, which can damage gelcoat.
Simply spray or brush on, cover with plastic wrap, leave for 12-24 hours for our Antifoul Remover to react, and then scrape or pressure wash off the antifoul.
Safe on fibreglass, gelcoat, steel, and wooden boat hulls. Safe on epoxy.
Proudly formulated and manufactured in Australia.
COVERAGE
1 Litre per 4 square metres.
APPLICATION
Read safety directions before use.
Step 1: Apply Peak Marine Antifoul Remover
Using an Airless Sprayer: Use an airless sprayer with chemical-resistant fittings. Do not atomize the product. Spray directly onto the clean hull, ensuring that the antifoul coating is thoroughly covered.
Brush Application: If you don't have an airless sprayer, you can also use a brush to apply the product evenly across the surface.
Step 2: Allow 12-24 Hours for Antifoul to Break Down
Apply out of direct sunlight.
Step 3: Remove Antifoul
After the treatment time has passed, you're ready to remove the antifoul coating. There are two options for this:
Pressure Washing: Using a pressure washer at a slight angle will help lift the antifoul off the boat hull. Our Antifoul Remover will have softened the antifoul, making it easier to wash away.
Scraping: For any remaining areas, scraping can be effective in removing the coating.
Step 4: Repeat if Necessary
If there are still traces of the antifoul coating present, repeat the process.
